(NOTE: This item follows the Obituary of Mary's husband, Albert Augustine Bunch born 30 Aug 1861, died 5 Aug 1935) The Laurens Sun, Laurens, Iowa, Thursday, 29 October 1959, Page 1: Pioneer Resident Dies at Age of 84; Funeral Sunday -------------------------------- Mrs. Mary Eleanor Siddall, 84, a pioneer resident of the Laurens community, died Friday evening at the Hovenden Memorial Good Samaritan Home. Funeral services were at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Methodist Church, with the Rev. R. D. Butler officiating. Russell Thumma, accompanied by Mrs. Willis Godfrey, sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "Rock of Ages." Pallbearers were O.B. McBride, C.C. Garner, Arnold Schleusener, P.A. Aschenbrennor, Clyde Peterson and Joe Grous. Burial was in the Laurens cemetery, with Hitchcock Funeral Home in charge. Born at Norway Mary Eleanor Craig, daughter of A.F. and Maryetta Craig, was born March 31, 1875, at Norway, Iowa. At an early age she moved with her parents to the Laurens community, and had lived here ever since. She attended high school at Laurens and college at Humboldt. On March 26, 1901, she was married to Albert Bunch at Laurens. Mr. Bunch died Aug. 3 (sic), 1935. In September, 1939, she was married to Ira Siddall, who died in 1945. Two children, Clifford and Elvira, also preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Dorothy (Mrs. Avery) Herschner of McConnelsville, Ohio, Vernel (Mrs. Glen) Ingram of Sioux Rapids, and Ila (Mrs. Leo) Smith of Waterloo; one sister, Mrs. Maryetta Kees of Laurens; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Siddall was a member of the Methodist Church of Laurens.
