Sept. 8, 1866, and passed away Dec. 26, 1945, at Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age ‘of 79 years, three months and 18 days. She came to Nebraska in 1884 and lived for three years with an uncle and aunt, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lamb, in Burrows Township, in Platte county. Thomazin Departed This Life Dec. 16; Funeral Sunday - Mary Elizabeth Abbadusky was born in Fulton county, Illinois. Sept. 8, 1866, and passed away Dec. 26, 1945, at Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age ‘of 79 years, three months and 18 days. She came to Nebraska in 1884 and lived for three years with an uncle and aunt, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lamb, in Burrows Township, in Platte county. On Nov. 9, 1887, she was married to Thomas Thomazin at the home of Mr. Thomazin’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Simeon [sic] Burrows, in Joliet township in Platte county. They lived on a farm in Platte county until 1907 when they moved to a farm northwest of Albion, where they resided until 1916. At that time they moved to Albion and this has since been their home. Her home and family were always her chief interest and her happiest hours were spent working with her flowers which she enjoyed until she was taken to the hospital where she grew constantly weaker until the end came Wednesday evening. She leaves her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Pearson of Genoa; and two sons, John of Lake Wilson, Minn., and Delbert of Albion; also twelve grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers in Illinois and a sister in California. Funeral services were held on Sunday. A short service was held at the home at 2:30 and at the Albion Baptist church at 2:45, with Rev. Edmonds of Gibbon, her former pastor, in charge.
