Burns, she was married to Fred Riibe Jan. 29, 1913, at Wynot, Neb. He died in 1931. She moved to South Sioux City in 1948 where she had lived since. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church at South Sioux City. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred Metz and Mrs. Arthur Bennett, both of Sioux City; three sons, Arthur and Francis, both of South Sioux City, and Leonard of Des Moines; a brother, Dan Burns of Sioux City; six sisters, Mrs. Katherine Monroe and Mrs. Fred Gaul, both of South Sioux City; Mrs. Emil Johns and Mrs. Bud Smith, both of Sioux City; Mrs. Lauretta Monroe of Blue Island, Ill.; Sister Paternella of Arcadia, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
