Description	:	MRS. A. B. REVELL DIES Mrs. A. B. Revell, pioneer resident of Cloud County, died at her home, 920 Matthew Street, Saturday afternoon, following an illness of several months. Mary Elizabeth Williams, daughter of Milton and Julia Williams, was born February 16, 1870 near Springfield, Illinois, and departed this life December 18, 1943 at her home in Concordia aged 73 years, 10 months, and 2 days. hi early childhood, she with her parents moved to Aurora, Nebraska, where she grew to young womanhood. Revell, pioneer resident of Cloud County, died at her home, 920 Matthew Street, Saturday afternoon, following an illness of several months. Mary Elizabeth Williams, daughter of Milton and Julia Williams, was born February 16, 1870 near Springfield, Illinois, and departed this life December 18, 1943 at her home in Concordia aged 73 years, 10 months, and 2 days. hi early childhood, she with her parents moved to Aurora, Nebraska, where she grew to young womanhood. On March 4, 1886, she was united in marriage to Alfred B. Revell. Soon after their wedding they traveled with covered wagon and a mule team to Stratton, Nebraska, where they homesteaded, living there nearly twelve years. From there they moved to Giltner, where they resided until they came to Kansas, settling near Concordia. Here she spent her remaining life. To this union were born six children, one of whom preceded her in death. At the age of 19 years, united with the Christian church and served her Master consistently throughout her remaining life. Her family will long remember her as a devoted mother and grandmother, and as one who gave her life completely in the service of others, leaving nothing but vice to others, leaving nothing but happy memories to all who knew her. Surviving are her aged husband; three daughters, Delia Kivett of Craig Colo.,Myrtle Shaffer of Republic, Kansas, and Mildred Jewett of Concordia, Kansas: two sons Roy of lola, Kansas and Guy of Aurora, Kansas; twenty-three grandchildren, five of whom are in the service of their country; twelve great grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, and a host of friends and neighbors. Funeral services were held, Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, at the Christian church, in charge of Rev. Kent Bates, and burial was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were: H. C. Spratlen, A.A. Reeves, Louis Townsdin, Perley Fees, Menzie Empson and A. W. Morgan. Out of town relatives here for the funeral were: Mr. & Mrs. Roy Revell and Mrs. Floyd Neptune of Iola;Mr. & Mrs. Toof, Mr. Ed Williams and Mr. Will Potter of Aurora Nebr; L. A. Williams of Scotts Bluff, Nebr.;Mr. & Mrs. Harley Shaffer and family of Republic City; Pvt Cecil Shaffer, of Camp White Ore.; A-S Alfred Shaffer, of U.S. Naval training at Farragut, Idaho; Mrs. Delia Kivett of Craig, Colo; Mr. & Mrs. Guy Revell and family ,and Mr. & Mrs. Harry Trost Of Aurora and Mr. & Mrs. Marvin Merrill Of Miltonvale Taken from: The Kansan, Concordia, Ks.
