Description	:	*Mary Evelyn Davis Jones*, age 94, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospital. Mary Evelyn was born in Americus, Kansas. She was the youngest of five daughters of Faye F. Davis and Mary Shoup Davis. She lived in Bristol, Tennessee/ Virginia since 1972, coming here when Massengil Drug merged with Beecham Company and known as Beecham Laboratories which brought her husband here. Read More	*Mary Evelyn Davis Jones, age 94, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospital. Mary Evelyn was born in Americus, Kansas. She was the youngest of five daughters of Faye F. Davis and Mary Shoup Davis. She lived in Bristol, Tennessee/ Virginia since 1972, coming here when Massengil Drug merged with Beecham Company and known as Beecham Laboratories which brought her husband here. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Malcolm Marion Jones. She was a member of “Adveretts”, the ladies auxiliary of the Advertising and Business Club of Kansas City. She was a Charter member in the Mother’s Club of the SAE Fraternity at Ball State University at Muncie, Indiana. She was a member of the Bristol Memorial Auxiliary and did volunteer services at the hospital for a few years. She was an active member in Blue Ridge Garden Club of Bristol, VA from 1973 to 2009. Besides her interest in in gardening, she enjoyed homemaking, taking care of her family, and travelling all over the world, including 6 continents and many islands. She is survived by her children Randy Jones of San Diego, California, Terri Taylor of Downingtown, PA and Stephen Jones of Bristol, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jim Taylor and Tammy, Scott Taylor and wife, Kelly Ann; great-grandchild, Vanessa Lagamba and husband, Antonio; great-great-grandchildren, Tizianna, Jionni and Adriano Lagamba. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Brookdale Bristol, 1 Liberty Place, Bristol, VA 24201 The graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 with Rev.
