Description	:	Mary Frances Page was born Oct. 29, 1857 in Clinton Co. Ohio to William & Rachel Myers (Miers) Page. When she was a small child her family moved to the Hermon, Illinois area. They lived on the Knox-Fulton county line. On Dec. 7, 1871 she married Marquis D. Hale at Hermon. Two of their 5 children were born in Illinois, an unnamed son who died at birth, & daughter Eva. Her other 3 children born in Clarke Co. Iowa were Bessie, Charles, & Raymond. She & her husband also raised Harley Gee, a nephew of... Read More	Mary Frances Page was born Oct. 29, 1857 in Clinton Co. Ohio to William & Rachel Myers (Miers) Page. When she was a small child her family moved to the Hermon, Illinois area. They lived on the Knox-Fulton county line. On Dec. 7, 1871 she married Marquis D. Hale at Hermon. Two of their 5 children were born in Illinois, an unnamed son who died at birth, & daughter Eva. Her other 3 children born in Clarke Co. Iowa were Bessie, Charles, & Raymond. She & her husband also raised Harley Gee, a nephew of her husband whose mother died when he was 6 years old. The family was in shock over his mysterious death in 1907, always believing he was murdered. A large amount of money was missing from the death scene. He is buried with Marquis & Mary. Mary was a member of the Osceola Christian Church. She died at her home on North Fillmore in Osceola on March 15, 1937. Church services were held on March 17th.
