She is survived by two children, Helen Irven of Springdale and Phillip Yingst of Stilwell, Okla.; two stepchildren, Jim Ensley Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Dean Ensley of Springdale; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beard's Chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Lynville Eaton officiating. Private burial will be in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Beard's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter in honor of Ensley. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Ensley of Fayetteville and a brother, Charles Martin of Springdale. Survivors include two children, Helen Irven of Springdale and Phillip Yingst of Stilwell, Okla.; two stepchildren, Jim Ensley, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Dean Ensley of Springdale; two sisters, Peggy Hentzen and Linda Burnhart both of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Mike Martin of Decatur, Ala.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held on Dec. 23 at Beard's Chapel with Minister Lynville Eaton officiating. Private burial was held in Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter in honor of Gwen Ensley and her beloved cats.
