Description	:	Mary Bardon Nichols was born July 2, 1848, near Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and deprted this life, Wednesday night, April 12, having attained the age of 73 years, 8 months and 15 days. She spent her girlhood in the vicinity of her native home, and having been left an orphan at an early age, she was thrown upon her own resources. She was united in marriage to W. H. Read More	Mary Bardon Nichols was born July 2, 1848, near Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and deprted this life, Wednesday night, April 12, having attained the age of 73 years, 8 months and 15 days. She spent her girlhood in the vicinity of her native home, and having been left an orphan at an early age, she was thrown upon her own resources. She was united in marriage to W. H. Nichols, July 3, 1876, at Oshkosh, Wis., and in the spring on 1880 they removed to the vicinity of Fairmont, Neb., where they soon interwove themselves into the activities of the golden west. They were ever ready to extend the hand of help to their ever enlarging circle of neighbors and friends. Her husband preceded her to the Homeland, departing this life June 2, 1906. Six children were born to this union: Clarence, Edgar and Mrs. Bernice Robbins, all of Fairmont, Neb. Mrs. Jessie Goostry of Vancouver, B. C.; and a pair of twins, Guy and Roy, who died in infancy. Fifteen grandchildren and three sisters and a brother also survive her; Miss Maggie Bardon, Marionelle Wis. Mrs. Libbie Boyd, Oshkosh, Wis., Miss Sarah Bardon, Oshkosh, Wis., and David Bardon of Oconto, Wis., are the sisters and brother. She was a woman of strong executive ability and was ever active in the furthering of the interests of the Kingdom. Her home was her castle and her church her devotion. At an early age she assumed the vows of the church and was ever found faithful to the calling. Her children and grandchildren will ever arise to call her blessed and cherish the memory of one whose calling was to follower her Master. "Verily it can be said of her: "She hath done what she could." She will be missed from the activities of this world but her exemplary life will guide many into the ways of righteousness. Daughter of Jacob and Margaret Bardon, born in Shayboygon, WI. Married William H. Nichols on July 3, 1876.
