To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Dora Rayburn. After one year of married life her husband passed into the Great Beyond. Mrs. Rayburn preceded her in death six months. L. Graham of Mahaska, Kan., Mrs. J. W. Davenport of Munden, Kan., E. H. Graham of Hubbell, Nebr., and Mrs. A. J. Wilkes of Belleville, Kan. Her husband died Jan. 17, 1898. In her early youth she gave her heart to Jesus and united with the Presbyterian church, of which she was a devoted and faithful member, always attending church and Sabbath school if it were possible for her to go. She was a very devoted mother, always thinking of the comforts of those around her. In her early life before trained nurses were available no one was sick that Grandma Graham was not called to cheer and comfort in trying hours. She departed this life March 14, 1922, at her daughter's home in Belleville, Kansas, at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 14 days. Oh, dear mother, we shall miss you When we see your empty chair. But we'll try to live to meet you In that home so bright and fair.
