Description	:	Mrs. G. A. Trobaugh Mary Jane Keiser was born December 25, 1856, in West Virginia. She departed this life May 22, 1933, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 27 days. At the age of four years she came with her parents to Warren county, Iowa, there experiencing the hardships of pioneer life. She was married to George A. Trobaugh on September 15, 1875, at Indianola, Iowa. Her husband departed this life October 10, 1906. She departed this life May 22, 1933, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 27 days. At the age of four years she came with her parents to Warren county, Iowa, there experiencing the hardships of pioneer life. She was married to George A. Trobaugh on September 15, 1875, at Indianola, Iowa. Her husband departed this life October 10, 1906. To this union were born six children, one son and five daughters, Thomas E., deceased; Mrs. Hattie Sarnes of Western, Nebr.; Mrs. Ida Gingrich, Mrs. Ora Cook, Mrs. Ethyl Cushing and Mrs. Nellie Fry, all of Fairfield, Nebr. She also leaves to mourn her loss six granddaughters, three grandsons and one great grandson. In 1894 the family moved from Iowa to Saline county, Nebr., remaining there until the year 1901 when they came to Clay county, Nebr., to make their home. They resided on the same farm until one and a half years ago. Since that time she has made her home with her daughters. At the age of sixteen she united with the Methodist church and remained a faithful Christian through life. One of the greatest comforts of her life was the singing of the sacred songs as she attended to the needs of her loved ones and the duties of her home. Funeral services were held at the farm home of J. H. Gingrich at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, May 24. Rev. S. G. Rasmusson had charge of the services. Interment was made in the Fairfield cemetery. (Source: The Edgar Sun, May 26, 1933, pg. 5, col. 4) Mrs. Mary Jane Trobaugh died at her home near Fairfield on May 22, at the age of 77 years. She and her husband, the late George A. Trobaugh, resided on a farm in Clay County for fore than thirty years. Mr. Trobaugh died October 10, 1906. Deceased was the grandmother of Mrs. Gordon Sheets of Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Sheets attended the funeral services which were held at the J.H. Gingrich farm home. Burial was at Fairfield. (Source: The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, June 1, 1933; pg. 5)
