They had 6 children while still in Michigan. Two of her children died there (Eburt & Will) The family moved onto Iowa. Here Mary & George had 4 more children. Three of these children died in Iowa (Alice,Effie,Earl) and this is where George died Feb 19, 1885. Mary continued on to Nebraska with her remaining 5 children. Mary then married Andrew McCleish Procunier on April 3, 1890 Chadron, Dawes County,Nebraska. They owned and operated the A & M Procunier General Merchandise store. The land (for the cemetery) was given by Mary Saxton Procunier, and the cemetery is located east of where the church once stood. "The Union Star Cemetery is located in Sioux County northwest of the Earl Kuhnel ranch (in 1986). The land for the cemetery was deed by Mary Saxton Procunier in 1888 to the Presbyterian Church in New York. The church was organized in 1890 by the Presbytery of Niobrara and the congregation was dissolved in 1924"
