Description	:	Mrs. Mary J. Byrd, one of our oldest residents, died on Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alex Tyler with whom she had made her home for some time, of infirmities of old age. Mrs. Byrd was eighty-four years old the day she died and was well known as the widow of the late David J. Byrd, who died some years ago. She was a good Christian woman and was well liked by a large circle of friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Asbury Tabernacle on Thursday, Rev. T.J. Sard officiating.
