Description	:	Mary Josephine Fitzgerald, 95, passed away on Dec. 21, 1960, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Mountford, here in Smith Center. Mary Josephine Fogel was born to Joseph and Louisa Kuhlvind Fogel on Nov. 19, 1865, in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. She came to Kansas with her parents when she was 12 years of age. They settled on a homestead 1 1/2 miles north of Mt. Hope church. She married Nathan L. Fitzgerald on Feb. 21, 1885. Dahms) of Airways Heights, Washington, Bernice (Mrs. Glen Derby) of Buckley, Washington, and Helen (Mrs. Alva Williams) of the Womer community. She is survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She and her husband were converted and united with the Methodist Church at Mt. Hope in 1908. Memorial services were held at Mt. Hope Church on Saturday, December 24 at 2 pm with the Rev. Royce Baldwin officiating. Internment was in Mt. Hope cemetery.
