Funeral On Christmas Day Mary K. Wilson, of Near Huron, Born in Tennessee, spent Early years in Missouri. Mrs. Mary K. Wilson, wife of the late Charles Wilson Died Thursday night in her home two miles south and three-fourths of a mile west of Huron. She was ninety-one years old and died on the farm to which she and her husband moved in 1855. Mrs. Wilson was a fine woman in all respects, a pioneer of real courage, and the mother of a fine family. Her life certainly was not in vain. All people of the Huron district respected her and admired her, and are truly grieved over her demise. The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon in the Baptist church at Huron. Burial will take place in the Old Huron cemetery. the pallbearers will be six grandsons of the deceased. General debility, natural to old age cause the death o f Mrs. Wilson, she had been in failing health several years, and became bedfast two weeks before her death. She is survived by four children; A. J. Wilson, of Hill City, Kan., formerly a county official of Atchison county; J. E. Wilson who lives on the old home place; T. C. Wilson, of near Muscotah; and Mrs. Julia Martin, of Burlingame Kas. All of the children are at the home place for the funeral. Mrs. Mary K. Wilson was born near Knoxville, Tennessee., October 31, 1831. She spent her girlhood days in Platte county, Mo., and Buchanan county, Mo. Before here marriage her name was Brown. She and her husband came to Atchison county in 1855, settling on the farm where both of them died.
