Description	:	Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Frank B. Fryer, 78, who died at her home on Third Avenue early Thursday morning, July 3. Following her death the body was taken to the Pittman Funeral Home to await the funeral which was in the Methodist Church of which the deceased was a member, conducted by the Rev. Ernest M. Buehler. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Mrs. Fryer had been in poor health for a number of years. About a year ago she was seriously ill and was left in a weakened condition. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Mrs. Fryer had been in poor health for a number of years. About a year ago she was seriously ill and was left in a weakened condition. Five weeks ago she suffered a fall and never fully recovered from the shock. Mary L. Stone, the daughter of Susan and Woodford Stone, was born September 21, 1862 in Sedialia, Missouri. While she was still a child her parents moved to Illinois and when she was 18 years old they moved back to Iowa, locating in Villisca. They lived on the farm near here until 1912, when they moved into Villisca and located on Third Avenue. she married Frank B. Fryer on September 7, 1884 and he preceded her in death, November 19, 1905. Five children were born to them, Roy L., Edward B., Manford F., Fred W, and Ruth Boggess, all of Villisca. There are 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her children, Mrs. Fryer is survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters, William Stone Monmouth, Illinois, Marion Stone, Bedford, Iowa; George Stone, Griswold, Iowa, Mrs. Lottie Clouse, Glendale, California; Mrs. Susan Black, Waterloo, Iowa; and Mrs. Lillian Hall, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Pall bearers at the funeral were Frank Fryer, James Boggess, Bob Boggess, Robert Scott, Carl Hanson, Clifford Nelson, Arnold Fryer, and Ivan Stone and the singing was by Cecil Weaver with Mrs. Frances Wheeler at the organ.
