Description	:	Mrs. Henry Schwartz Sr., nee Mary Liehtenhaus, was born in Germany, January 6, 1860 and died at the family home in Creighton, April 8, 1824 about five o'clock in the afternoon. On the sixteenth of August 1877, she was married to Henry Schwartz. In 1879, they immigrated to Carroll, Iowa, where they resided for six years, before removing to Antelope county, Nebraska. In the spring of 1893, with her husband and family, she moved to Knox county on a farm southwest of Winnetoon, where they resided for twenty two years. Read More	Mrs. Henry Schwartz Sr., nee Mary Liehtenhaus, was born in Germany, January 6, 1860 and died at the family home in Creighton, April 8, 1824 about five o'clock in the afternoon. In February 1914, they removed to Creighton, where she has since made her home. She is survived by her husband and eight children; Mrs. F.C. Preston, Omaha; Joe and William of Winnetoon; John of Verdigre; Ed of Pierce; Elmer of Verdel; Arnie of Pierce; Lillian of Omaha. She was preceded in death by three children, Mrs. J.P. Darcy, Leo and Henry Jr. She is also survived by one brother and one step sister, living in Germany. Mrs. Schwartz interests were centered in her home and loved ones. Rearing a large family, in whose welfare, she was ever watchful, endeared her, together with her true Christian character, to her entire circle of acquaintances. She was ever faithful and her entire life was marked by consistency and devotion to her duty. The funeral was held from the Catholic church this Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Father Windolph. Interment was made in St. Ludger cemetery. The six sons acted as pallbearers.
