Description	:	March 26, 1946 - Carroll Times - Mrs. Mary Louise Nestle, widow of George Nestle, died at her home, 520 North Clark street, at 2:30 this morning at the age of 72 years. She had been in declining health the last three years. Yesterday afternoon she became critically ill. Funeral services are to be at 9 o'clock Friday morning at SS. Peter and Paul's church, with the Rev. Father Lambert Schenkelberg officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll city cemetery. Peter and Paul's church, with the Rev. Father Lambert Schenkelberg officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll city cemetery. Friends may view the body at the Sharp Funeral home this evening and until the time of the rites. The rosary, led by the Rev. Father Schenkelberg, will be prayed at the funeral home at 8 o'clock Thursday evening. Mrs. Nestle was a lifelong resident of Carroll county. She was born Mary Louise Buchheit Aug. 15, 1878, at Roselle, a daughter of Joe and Johanna Buchheit. Her marriage to Mr. Nestle took place at SS. Peter and Paul's church here June 23, 1893, with the Rev. Father Nacke reading the nuptial mass. Mr. Nestle, who had served as Carroll county sheriff, died Aug. 12, 1904. Mrs. Nestle leaves two sons Harry of Burlington and George of Carroll; one granddaughter Mrs. Jack Pepper (Maxine Nestle) and one great granddaughter, Susan Yarbrough, both of San Diego, Calif. Other survivors are three sisters: Mrs. Frank Beiter (Carolyn) Carroll; Mrs. William McPherson (Kate), who has made her home with Mrs. Nestle for several years; Mrs. W.E. Lye (Minnie), Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Frank Buchheit, Carroll, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Nichols of Council Bluffs. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Nestle was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's church and the Christian Mothers sodality of the parish.
