She was born in Watertown, SD, on Feb. 26, 1945, the daughter of Joseph P. and Crescentia "Grace" (Sikkes) Lang. She was a graduate of Henry South Dakota High School and attended South Dakota State University. Mary Lou married Lee L. Fiferlick on May 15, 1965, in Henry, SD. Read More	The Janesville Gazette - December 5th, 2003 JANESVILLE � Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Fiferlick, age 58, of 1325 Sharon St., died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at her home. She was born in Watertown, SD, on Feb. 26, 1945, the daughter of Joseph P. and Crescentia "Grace" (Sikkes) Lang. She was a graduate of Henry South Dakota High School and attended South Dakota State University. Mary Lou married Lee L. Fiferlick on May 15, 1965, in Henry, SD. He preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 2000. She worked as designer for Specialty Cove Cabinet Studio, retiring in July of 2002. She also worked for many rewarding years as the school secretary for St. John Vianney Catholic School and was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She was active in various school, church and community organizations and always enjoyed her time helping others. She was extremely artistic, and her talents included china painting, calligraphy, jewelry painting, watercolors, sketching, card stamping, silk floral design, organ playing and writing poetry. She was an avid reader and bowler who loved bowling in tournaments with her friends. She was strong, delightful, compassionate, non-judgmental, a great listener, an amazing true friend, and the best mother a daughter could ever have. Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Audra L. Fiferlick of West Haven, CT; and a brother, LeRoy Lang of Rapid City, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Melvin; stepfather, John Curley; 2 brothers, James Lang and D.J. Lang; and a brother-in-law, Russell Fiferlick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church , with Fr. Mike Doro officiating.
