Description	:	Mary is the wife of John Eldon McKinley. Her parents are Irvin F. Murray (Maine) and Rachel (Henderson) Murray (Ohio). Her older siblings in order are Augusta May Huggins Bailey, Harry Eugene Murray and Charles Warren Murray. She also has one younger sister, Luella Brown. All five of Irvin and Rachel's children are buried in Iowa. Mary and John came from Dallas County, Iowa but moved to Canada with their three children shortly after the birth of Edith, their youngest child (late 1905 or early 1906). John's younger brother, Frank, also moved there with his wife, Zoe. Mary and John only stayed a few years before returning to Creston, Iowa (in 1908 or 1909). Very shortly after they moved to Creston their only son, Harry, died at the age of 10 (in 1910); they then moved to Council Bluffs very shortly after the death. John's older brother, Charles, already lived in Council Bluffs. Mary suffered a stroke which left her in a wheelchair for the final couple years of her life. During this time, Mary and John lived with their daughter, Edith, in Council Bluffs. They were members of Broadway Christian Church.
