Description	:	A service in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. for Mrs. Charles F. Hoyt of Wichita, who died Monday at the Wesley Medical Center. The Rev. Lee Wiersma of the First United Methodist Church will conduct the services at the funeral home and in Phillips Cemetery, southeast of Admire. Mrs. Hoyt was a former resident of Coffey County and Lyon County and had been a member of Duck Creek Methodist Church. She moved from Burlington to Wichita 15 years ago. The former Mary M. Stewart, she was born Feb. 22, 1894, in Chase County to James and Ellen McKnight Stewart. She attended the Kansas Normal School, now Emporia State University, and taught for four years in Lyon County before her marriage on May 10, 1916 in Doniphan. Mr. Hoyt died Dec. 17, 1981. Survivors include three daughters, Gladys Irene Comeaux of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Edith Voorhees of Madison and Ellen Hockanson of Wichita; two sons, Harold E. Hoyt, 721 Exchange St., and James Hoyt of Burlington; one brother George Stewart of Topeka; 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Stella Langley, Rt. 2, is a surviving sister-in-law.
