Mrs. Barber was born May 10, 1884, in Pittsburgh, Pa., (the daughter of William E. and Lucinda Kritzer Weight). At the age of 5 years she went to Woodbine, Ia., and in 1912 to Dakota county, Neb. Mrs. Barber was born May 10, 1884, in Pittsburgh, Pa., (the daughter of William E. and Lucinda Kritzer Weight). At the age of 5 years she went to Woodbine, Ia., and in 1912 to Dakota county, Neb. She resided there until eight years ago, when she came to Sioux City. She was married November 6, 1901, to Charles W. Miller at Logan, Ia. In March, 1930, she was married to Mr. (Orren "Daddy") Barber, who died in 1940. Survivors, in addition to her first husband are six sons, Burl, George, and Jacque Miller, all of South Sioux City, Charles Miller of Sioux City, and William and Robert Miller, both of Ferndale, Cal.; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Anderson of South Sioux City and Mrs. Edna Keller of Chicago; a brother, John Waite of Earling, Ia.; 23 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger funeral home. (She was laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery in Sioux City.) Note: Great Grandma Barber loved flowers, and at her wake, every room in the house was filled with flowers brought by friends and loved ones. No one remembers ever having seen so many flowers.
