Description	:	Ref: Mary Matilda (Cramer) Moulton was born in Hubbard, OH, September 23, 1859, and she would have reached her fifty-ninth year had she lived till the twenty-third of this month. When five years old she moved with her parents to Castle Grove vicinity where the home was maintained for about two years, and they then moved to Hopkinton. With many who mourn the loss of a friend today she attended the public schools of Hopkinton and also Lenox College. July 4, 1881 she was united in marriage with James D. Moulton and the new home was established... Read More	Ref: Mary Matilda (Cramer) Moulton was born in Hubbard, OH, September 23, 1859, and she would have reached her fifty-ninth year had she lived till the twenty-third of this month. When five years old she moved with her parents to Castle Grove vicinity where the home was maintained for about two years, and they then moved to Hopkinton. With many who mourn the loss of a friend today she attended the public schools of Hopkinton and also Lenox College. July 4, 1881 she was united in marriage with James D. Moulton and the new home was established on the present homestead farm. After marriage Mrs. Moulton united with the Buck Creek Church and she remained in that fellowship until death. The end came as a welcome relief after eleven years of suffering and helplessness. During that time loving hands did all possible to bring comfort and rest. The home was blessed by the coming of five children, two of whom preceded their Mother to the heavenly rest, and the three now living are, Mrs. Agnes Todd of Sebeca, MN, Mrs. Maud Flannagan of Ryan, and Clel Moulton of Buck Creek. There are also twelve grandchildren. Besides the immediate family she leaves three brothers, Frank Cramer of Manchester, A. K. Cramer of Hopkinton, and C. A. Cramer of Cedar Rapids. There are also four sisters, Mrs. W. W. Eberhart of Ottawa, KS; Mrs. Emma Stevens of Sioux City; Mrs. F. E. Bentley of Rhodes; and Mrs. B. O. Houston of Belvidere, IL. The funeral service was held in the Buck Creek Church, Thursday afternoon, September 12. Rev. W. G. Rowley of the Hopkinton Methodist Episcopal Church and Rev. W. N. Baker of the Buck Creek church officiated. Interment was in the local cemetery.
