Description	:	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," December 14, 1955: Native Of County Dies At Age Of 94 Mrs. Mary Robertson Dimmitt, 94, of 918 North Court Street, widow of Lincoln Dimmitt, died at her home at 4 p.m. She was born in Wapello County June 11, 1861, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Robertson. She had lived all of her life in Wapello County, and moved from Dahlonega Township to Ottumwa in 1918. Read More	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," December 14, 1955: Native Of County Dies At Age Of 94 Mrs. Mary Robertson Dimmitt, 94, of 918 North Court Street, widow of Lincoln Dimmitt, died at her home at 4 p.m. She was born in Wapello County June 11, 1861, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Robertson. She had lived all of her life in Wapello County, and moved from Dahlonega Township to Ottumwa in 1918. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, and was a charter member of the Social Order of Beauceant. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Lena Dimmitt of Ottumwa; four sons, Nobel Dimmitt, Earl Dimmitt, and Olen Dimmitt, all of Ottumwa, and Lee Dimmitt of Chicago, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Jay Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Paul Hann, D.D., pastor of the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
