Description	:	MARY M. BUCHANAN: Mrs. Mary Melinda (Minnie) Buchanan died in Marquardt's Nursing Home, Orangeville, on Thursday, April 25, 1963, at the age of 85 years. Mrs. Buchanan had been a patient in the Nursing Home for about five years. Born June 28, 1877, in Orangeville, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Davison. She attended public schools at Whittington and Farmington. Mary Davison and Robert Buchanan were married in Mono Centre on February 5, 1896. Mrs. Buchanan was a life member of the Women's Missionary Society of Laurel United Church. She is survived by a son, James, of Laurel, and a daughter, Mrs. Alex Cruikshank (Olive) of Toronto; also four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Robert Pierce conducted the funeral service in the chapel of the Turner Funeral Home, Orangeville, on Saturday, April 27th. Interment was in Laurel Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews: William Davison, Carm Davison, Vernon Davison and Neil Pattullo and neighbors: Ralph Hamilton and Elwood Nelson. Flower bearers were grandson: Lloyd Buchanan, Bruce Buchanan, Jim Cruikshank and Douglas Cruikshank, and nephews: Bruce Pattullo, Warren Johnston, George Young and Percy Bryan.
