Description	:	Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 27, for Mrs. Ollie Groseclose, pioneer resident of Wray, from the Nazarene church with Rev. John W. Frazier, officiating. Mrs. Groseclose, daughter of David and Catherine Gordy, was born August 31, 1885, in Scotland County, Mo., and departed this life Thursday Jan. 23, 1969 at the age of 83 years, four months and 23 days. Mrs. Groseclose, daughter of David and Catherine Gordy, was born August 31, 1885, in Scotland County, Mo., and departed this life Thursday Jan. 23, 1969 at the age of 83 years, four months and 23 days. On Febr. 22, 1908 she was married to Arthur Groseclose at Lancaster, Mo. They moved to a homestead in Yuma County, which has been the family home to the present. Mrs. Groseclose joined the United Missionary church as a young adult and led an active life in the church as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Alta Bennett; one infant daughter, one granddaughter and two brothers. Left to mourn her passing are seven children, Edgar of Wray, Annie French of Lewellen, Nebr., Nellie Maendl of Yuma, Co., Lloyd and Guffy of Greybull, Wyo., Vada Walchle of Fort Collins and Ada Walchle of Wray. Also surviving are three sisters, Jane Mason of Granger, Mo., Dora Rowe of Holyoke, Rena Shaw of Wray, 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Interment was held in the Green Lawn Cemetery at Lamar, Nebr. Relatives coming from a distance to attend the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Groseclose, Greybull, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williams, Casper, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Sweeney, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Durham, Arbela, Mo.; Harold Gordy, Bowling Green, Mo., Mrs. Lila Nicholas, Ruth Maendl, Denver. Also Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Maendl, and son, Chinle, Ariz.; Walter Maendl, Nampa, Idaho; Marion Walchle, Warren, Ohio; Ray Walchle, Rockville, Md; Ralph Walchle, Layfayette, Colo.; Willard Walchle, Maxine Walchle, Mrs. Barbara Fisbeck, Fort Collins, Mt., and Mrs. Paul Groshans, Longmont, Mt., and Mrs. Kenneth Dodson, Commerce City.
