She was married Nov. 4, 1939, to Morley W. Braye at Stockton, Kan. Three children were born to this union: Shirley Swanstrom, Larry Braye and Kathleen Langer. Pauline married John Brueggeman April 12, 1980 in Superior and moved to Arvada, Colo., in that same year. Husbands Morley W. Braye and John Brueggeman preceded her in death. She was active in Arvada United Methodist Church, Arvada Rebekah Lodge, JeffCo Action Center, bridge groups and golf leagues. She was an avid follower of her grandchildren's sporting events and school activities. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and trips to Germany, France and Italy. Surviving are her children, Shirley Swanstrom, Sidney; Larry Braye, Arvada, Colo.; Mrs. Joe Langer(Kathleen), Landstuhl, Germany; one brother, George Crandall, Wilcox; grandchildren Nick Swanstron, Sterling, Va.; David Swanstrom, Hastings, Mrs. Bob Kerns (Pam), Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Greg Garner (Tammy), Thornton, Colo.; Wendy Braye, Arvada, Colo., Matthew Langer, Madison, Wis., and Trista Langer, Middletown, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Kitska and Alicia Swanstrom, Brent and Jacob Wilderman, and Tyler, Tanner and Kenzi Garner. Services will be held today (Thursday) 10:30 a.m. at the Arvada United Methodist Church. The Rev. Rusty Butler will officiate. Additional services will be held 11 a.m, Saturday at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Superior. The Rev. Dorthea Fairbanks will officate. Visitation will take place Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Superior. Superior Express April 6, 2006.
