Gordon Jensen, pastor of the Congregational-Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eddie Blair, Osborne Bartling, Charles Bartling, Homer Blair, Kenneth Smith and Lyle Overholt. Mary Lucretia Tuttle was born Sept. 13, 1893 at Waltonville, Ill. Pallbearers were Eddie Blair, Osborne Bartling, Charles Bartling, Homer Blair, Kenneth Smith and Lyle Overholt. Mary Lucretia Tuttle was born Sept. 13, 1893 at Waltonville, Ill. Her father, Frank Tuttle, passed away in California, when she was about seven years old. Her mother, Lydia Wray Tuttle, passed away March 2, 1940. On October 14, 1912 Miss Tuttle was united in marriage to Fred Wentz at Bonesteel, S.D. Nine children were born to them. The couple lived at Winner, S.D. for a few years and then homesteaded at White River, S.D. They came to Creighton in a covered wagon and made their home here until Mr. Wentz passed away July 3, 1954. In December of 1956 she was united in marriage to Charles Kristofferson. They lived in Omaha and visited in California. It was while in California she was found in her bed the morning of September 27. Among the survivors are seven children, Mildred Rasmussen of Plainview, Ralph and James Wentz of Omaha, Shirley Beach of Norwalk, Calif., Earl and Sgt. Leslie Wentz in the Army at Fort Riley, Kan. and Kenneth Wentz in California. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and a stepsister, Reta Stippich of California. Two daughters preceded her in death.
