[…Funeral details…] Mrs. Kiser was born Dec. 23, 1875 in Czechoslovakia to John and Catherine Vincik. They came to the United States when she was seven, settling on a farm south of St. Paul. She and John Kiser were married April 1, 1900 at Deadwood, S. D. They lived in the Black Hills until 1910, when they came to St. Paul. Mr. Kiser died in 1937. For the last 12 years Mrs. Kiser had lived with her daughter in Grand Island. She had been bedfast for several months. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Catherine Vincik of Grand Island, who is 104 years old; three sons, John and Charles, St. Paul, and George, Pueblo, Colo.; five daughters, Ms. Canfield; Ms. Mary Meredith, Omaha; Mrs. Clara Harris, Maywood, Calif.; Mrs. Anna Brabander, Grand Island, and Mrs. Alice Layher, St. Paul; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Weinert, Grand Island, and two brothers, Mike Vincik, Perth Amboy, N. J., and Ed Vincik, St. Paul.
