She was born Feb. 25, 1921, in Hillsboro, the daughter of C. Theodore Perin, Sr., and Faye (Dailey) Perin. She was born Feb. 25, 1921, in Hillsboro, the daughter of C. Theodore Perin, Sr., and Faye (Dailey) Perin. Mary's career started as a writer for WLW-T and WCKY stations in Cincinnati, later as a professional Musician. She entertained as organist for several hotels and restaurants in Cincinnati and Columbus, as well as, in Hillsboro and the surrounding area. Mary had also been a music teacher. She was a member of the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church, where she had held several offices. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, and attended Miami University in Oxford, attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and had recently studied art at Chatfield College. She was a member of the Oxford Chapter of the D.A.R., member of the Esoteric Club, Highland County Historic Society, Emblem Club, Snow Hill Country Club, the Greater Cincinnati Musicians Association and had been a member of the Town Club. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Charles T. and Jean Perin, Jr. of Oxford; three nephews, Dr. Perin Johnson of Thousands Oaks, Calif.; Timothy Johnson of Mt. Carmel;Dr. Charles T. Perin III of Washington, D.C.; one niece, Nancy Lynn Perin Axmacher, of Wyoming; and five great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Glendon Parry in June 1958; one sister, Betty Perin Johnson; and one nephew, Frederick A. Johnson. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 14, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, with Rev. Maurice Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
