Description	:	Matthias' obituary: Matthias Osweiler Jr. was born January 11, 1884, and departed this life on March 8, 1923. He was one of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Matthias Osweiler of south of Harper. He was married about nine years ago to Mary Conrad, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Conrad, now of Keota, and to this union were born five children, Richard, Geraldine, Lillian, Cyril and Irene, all of whom with the mother survives. Read More	Matthias' obituary: Matthias Osweiler Jr. was born January 11, 1884, and departed this life on March 8, 1923. He was one of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Matthias Osweiler of south of Harper. He was married about nine years ago to Mary Conrad, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Conrad, now of Keota, and to this union were born five children, Richard, Geraldine, Lillian, Cyril and Irene, all of whom with the mother survives. The deceased is also survived by his aged parents, and by seven brothers, Edward, George, Peter, John, Aloise, Frank and Clarence, and by two sisters, Frances, at home, and Mary, now Mrs. Frank Slattery of Chapman, Nebraska. Mr. Osweiler was a farmer, living on the former Ben Korl farm southwest of Keota. He was a very industrious man, honest, good to his wife and children, and a good neighbor. The manner of his death was a shock to everyone, and it can only be supposed that worry over financial troubles caused a mental aberration under the influence of which, he took his own life, as reported last week. The sorrowing family have the very sincere sympathy of their friends, relatives and neighbors in their great affliction. The funeral was held Saturday morning, March 10, at Ss. Peter and Paul's church at Clear Creek, in charge of the Rev. Father Sendbuehler. Interment was made in the parish cemetery. Keota Eagle, March 15, 1923.
