Description	:	PANGLE, MAUDE—Maude Ashcroft, daughter of Simpson and Margaret Ashcroft was born February 7, 1881, at Lexington, Mo. She passed away November 18, 1962, at Lincoln General hospital in Lincoln, Neb, after a brief illness at the age of 81 years 9 months, and 11 days. Miss Ashcroft moved with her parents to Barada, Neb., in 1900 and lived in that community until the family moved to Geneva in 1903. Maude Ashcroft was married to Ira D. Read More	PANGLE, MAUDE—Maude Ashcroft, daughter of Simpson and Margaret Ashcroft was born February 7, 1881, at Lexington, Mo. She passed away November 18, 1962, at Lincoln General hospital in Lincoln, Neb, after a brief illness at the age of 81 years 9 months, and 11 days. Miss Ashcroft moved with her parents to Barada, Neb., in 1900 and lived in that community until the family moved to Geneva in 1903. Maude Ashcroft was married to Ira D. Pangle at Geneva, Neb., December 15, 1909. To this union were born two children, Dale Pangle and Margaret Pangle Johnson. She lived in Geneva most of her life until 1954, when she moved to Lincoln to make her home with her daughter. Her husband preceded her in death at Geneva, December 16, 1951. Also preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers, two sisters, and one grandson, Robert Dale Pangle. She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Dale Pangle and one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Johnson, both of Lincoln, and son-in-law Eric Johnson; two grandchildren, Mrs. Margaret Ann Samani of Ida Grove, Ia., and Mrs. Barbara Clark of Lincoln; three great-grandchildren, David, Julie and Danny Samani; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Boatman and Mrs. Rose Pangle of Geneva. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Funeral services were held at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Tuesday, November 20, Rev. Robert Kasper officiated. Ralph Reemts sang “Beautiful Isle” with Mrs. Willard Foster as accompanist. Pallbearers were Joseph Bixby, John Bixby, George I. Cruse, J. L. Cumberland, John Kroll and Ralph Reemts.
