She is survived by five daughters, Peggy Jones of Davenport, Darlene Johnson of San Diego, CA, Effie Parcel and Sheila Jameson of Ottumwa and Linda Rush of Las Vegas, NV; three sons, Mickey Hucks of Ottumwa, and Denny Hucks of Gillette, WY; a stepson, Robert Francis of Ottumwa; 56 grandchildren; and 67 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Merilyn Brown and Jackie Pickerell; two stepdaughters, Lucille Grinstead and Carol Proctor; two sisters, Hazel Hamersley and Myrtle Griffiths; and three brothers, Sam, Lee and Beary Hamersley. The service will be 1 pm Wednesday at Bible Baptist Church, the Rev Jim Neal officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 9 am Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with family present from 7 to 8:30 pm. Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church.
