Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holdrege Memorial Homes. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Germanus Catholic Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Robert Barnhill officiating. "Bud" Breinig in Arapahoe. He died in August 1988. Survivors include her sons, Robert Breinig and his wife, Janice, of Holdrege and Richard Breinig and his wife, Judith, and Larry Breinig and his wife, Sherry, all of Arapahoe; daughter, Judy Jacobsen and her husband, Ron, of Loomis; sister, Della "Peg" Ziebell of Arapahoe; 12 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild. She attended school at Holbrook Public Schools and completed her education at rural Gosper County School. She and Bud were married at St. Germanus Catholic Church in Arapahoe. They made their home on a farm northeast of Arapahoe. They moved to Arapahoe in 1980. Following an illness, she moved to Holdrege Memorial Homes in March 2010. She was active in St. Germanus Catholic Church and served as president and secretary of the Altar Society. She served as president of the Arapahoe Senior Center Board. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wayne; and brother-in-law, Herb Ziebell. Published in Kearney Hub on January 2, 2013
