She was born June 24, 1938, in White Gate, the daughter of Edward Sheffey & Sadie Mustard Vest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Sheffey & Sadie Mustard Vest, two brothers, Louis Vest and Carl Vest, and a grandchild, Jayden Aurelius Morris. Left to carry on her legacy and cherish her memory are the love of her life, her loving husband of 57 years, Wayne R. McPeak; her daughters & sons-in-law, Ellen & Paul Bielema, Mary Ann & Jason Davis and Susan & Bryan Morris; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Bielema, Clarissa Bielema, Renee Davis, Theron Davis, Kara Davis, "Charlie" Morris, Jeanette & Brent Gore, Sarah Schaffert, Jessie Schaffert and Bryan Morris; two great-grandchildren, Cadence Gore, and Annelise Morris; her brothers, Nelson Vest and Jimmie Vest; her sister, Ann Sutphin; her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Barry & Gayle McPeak, Nathan & Thelma McPeak and Deborah Vest; several very special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, too many to list. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Stinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, May 16, 2021, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in May Dell's honor to one of the following that meant so much to her: The Poplar Hill Fire Dept., 725 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA, 24134, Mt.
