She had been ill but was thought to be well on the way to recovery. She is 83 years old. Mrs Noyes was born in Ripley, Ind. coming to Kansas when she was about 18 years old. In 1886 she was married to George F Noyes and she and her husband lived in Humboldt thoughout their married lives with the exception of eight years spent in Iola. Mr. Noyes died in 1916. Mrs Noyes was a member of the Methodist church and of the O.E.S. She leaves three daughters, Mrs Mazie Morris and Mrs Faye Harrison, Humboldt, and Mrs Cecil Steinman, Kansas City; a stepdaughter, Mrs Addie Blum, Lyndon; a son Melvin Noyes, Topeka; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been completed and will be announced later by the Johnson Funeral Home.
