He passed away at his home near Overbrook, Sunday morning Jan 30, 1916, at the age of four years, 10 months and 7 days after a severe sickness of three weeks. Read More	Merle, the third child of Mr and Mrs Will Atchison was born in Douglas county, Kansas, March 23, 1911. He passed away at his home near Overbrook, Sunday morning Jan 30, 1916, at the age of four years, 10 months and 7 days after a severe sickness of three weeks. The funeral was held at the home at 12 o'clock Monday January 31, conducted by Rev I L Hoover and the baby laid to rest by the side of his dear little brother, Walter, who preceded him on December 28, 1915. The deepest heartfelt sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved young parents, whose hearts have been doubly burdened.
