He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Pomona, and former member of the International Order of Odd Fellows at Pomona. He was married to Vera Ellen Shipps Jan. 3, 1929, at Pomona. she survives. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Pomona. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Pomona. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church at Pomona or to the American Lung Association in care of the funeral home.
