He passed away at Nuckolls County Hospital, October 27, 194 at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 6 days. When ten years of age his parents moved to Nuckolls County, Nebraska. Shaw was born January 21, 1890 to George and Mary Shaw in Jewell County, Kansas. He passed away at Nuckolls County Hospital, October 27, 194 at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 6 days. He was the last surviving member of a family of 15 children. His father, mother, 4 sisters, 10 brothers, 2 sons-in-law and one grandson, Larry Tordrup, preceded him in death. On August 22, 1916 he was united in marriage to Gladys Baumbach at Nelson, Nebraska. They were married 58 years this August. To this union were born 3 children, George and Mrs. Albert (Marceline) Bargen of Superior and Mrs. W.A. (Phyllis) Lincoln, Wichita, Kansas. His survivors are his widow, Gladys; 3 children; a daughter-in-law; a son-in-law; 4 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services were held at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, October 30, at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Albert J. Kleinsasser officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior.
