Description	:	Meta E. (Wegner) Henon was born to her loving parents Wilhelm F. G. "Willie" and Olga (Vogler) Wegner on Friday March 15, 1907 at Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. Meta was raised in Scribner and she was a 1926 graduate of Scribner High. Meta lived in western Nebraska and Cheyenne, Laramie County Wyoming. "Willie" and Olga (Vogler) Wegner on Friday March 15, 1907 at Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. Meta was raised in Scribner and she was a 1926 graduate of Scribner High. Meta lived in western Nebraska and Cheyenne, Laramie County Wyoming. While in Cheyenne Meta was united in marriage to Ray Henon on December 24, 1935. The wedding took place at 9p at the parsonage of Rev. H. L. W. Schultz who performed the ceremony. Meta was employed by the Cheyenne Coca Cola Bottling Company. Meta's husband was employed by the United Airlines Transport Corporation. The couple later moved and lived in Burlingame, San Mateo County California. Meta was a member of Trinity Lutheran of Burlingame. Sadly Meta passed at the Mills Hospital at San Mateo, San Mateo County California on Friday September 1, 1989 at the age of 82 years, 5 months, 17 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 30,121 days. Meta's closed casket funeral service was held at St. Peter's Lutheran on Wednesday September 6, 1989 at 10:30a with Rev. Donald Brunner officiating with no visitation. Brenda Lamberty was the organist with Marvin Von Seggern the soloist. Meta was interred in the Scribner Cemetery with Moser Funeral Home of Fremont in charge of her arrangements. Meta's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Meta by Loren R.
