She had been afflicted with a severe case of influenza, which developed into pneumonia. She was taken sick ten days preceding her death. Her condition became so serous and unfavorable, that it was deemed best to take her to the hospital. In spite of the excellent care she received, she was unable to combat the dreaded disease. Mrs. Bohlken was a daughter of Mrs. Theodore Reinits and is survived by her husband and three small children, George, Mary and John. Burial was had from the Wayne Lutheran church, yesterday and interment was made in the Wayne cemetery. Rev. Willms had charge of the funeral services. She was a good mother, and her little children will sadly miss her care and direction. She was a faithful member of the Lutheran church.
