OBITUARY-THE BURCHARD TIMES MICHAEL DONAHUE Michael Donahue died at his home in Burchard on Sunday, October 20 at 7 o'clock a.m. The cause developed from a broken limb which he received a few weeks ago when he fell from the porch at his home. Mr. Donahue was a good neighbor, the kindest of fathers and husband. The family is extended the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community. Mr. Donahue was born at Templemore, County Tipperary, Ireland, 1828. In 1848 he came to this country, landing at New York where he remained five years when he came to Ind., and remained there until 1869, from there he came to Pawnee County, Nebr., where he has continually resided in and near Burchard. He is survived by his wife and five children, two sons and three daughters, twenty-four grandchildren and ten great-grand children. Services were held from the Catholic church Tuesday morning by Rev. Father Cronin, and interment the church cemetery west of town. (Correction when they first went to Pawnee county, they settled in the north part of Pawnee City for a few years before going out west to Burchard.)
