She was born Dec. 19, 1906 near Doe Hill, a daughter of Elijah and Polly Botkin Bishop. On Jan. 2, 1929 she married John W. Leach, who preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1956. Mrs. Leach was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Head Waters Presbyterian Church, a member of the Women's Circle, and taught Sunday school for several years. Mrs. Leach is survived by two daughters, Helen Leach of Head Waters and Juanita Propst of Harrisonburg; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, July 2 at 11 a.m. at the Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Lester LaPrade. Burial was in the Head Waters Cemetery.
