She was born on October 26, 1892, the daughter of Michael Cyril and Anna Tovey Doyle in Magnolia. She was a housewife. She married Carl W. Hansen on September 8, 1915 and they had celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary last September. Funeral services were held on May 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Patricks Church, Missouri, with Father Daniel Clarke officiating. Soloist was Fred Schwertley, and accompanist was Marjorie Gravert. Pallbearers included Curtis Peterson, Jeff Stirtz, Doug Hansen, Dan Hansen, Michael Hansen, Mark Hansen. Burial was in the Magnolia Cemetetry, Hennessey, VanCleave and Hurley Funeral Home handled the arrangements. A wake service was held on May 10 at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death in 1934 by a son, Dean. Survivors include: her husband, Carl, of Missouri Valley; two dons, Darrell, of Woodbine, Marion, of Fort Morgan, Colorado; three daughters, Margaret Peterson of Council Bluffs, Frances Stirtz, of Missouri Valley, Dorothy Hirst, of Missouri Valley; one sister, Mrs. Lucille Spooner of Pearson, Iowa; 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
