AND EVENING SUNDAY The lifeless body of Milo Stephens, who lived on the H.H. Wilson farm 3 miles southeast of town, was discovered Monday morning at 8 o'clock. Jake Fisher had gone to the Stephens home Monday morning to see about some stock he had in paster there, and noticing that the chores had not been done, he became suspicious that something might be wrong and notified George Stephens, who was at the Cecile Amlong home. In turn they told their neighbors, the Wiles boys, and Ed and Roy Wiles and George Stephens went to investigate. They discovered the lifeless body of Mr. Stephens lying on the floor, where he had fallen. The county coroner was notified, and upon investigation decided that an inquest was not necessary. There was no indication of a struggle of any kind. We understand that Mr. Stephens had been a sufferer from heart trouble for many years. The last man to talk to Mr. Stephens was Mr. Lowry, at about ten o'clock Sunday morning, ao his death took place some time between Sunday forenoon and bedtime Sunday night. Bedwell & Son were notified and the body was brought to their undertaking parlors in Wellman Monday forenoon. The deceased had been a tenant on the Wilson farm for more than twenty years---a record that few renters can claim. Mrs. Stephens passed away Step. 2, 1927, leaving her husband and one son George, to mourn. To be bereft of mother and father in so short a time is a hard blow to George, and to him the sympathy of the community is extended.
