Description	:	BURKE, MINNIE E.—Minnie E. Nothomb, daughter of Michael J. and Mary Nothomb, was born at Milford, Neb., December 16, 1878. She passed away at Lincoln, November 7, 1955, at the age of 76 years 10 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to James M. Burke, November 8, 1899, in St. Vincent's church at Seward. They lived most of their married life on a farm three miles west of Geneva, moving there in 1909. In 1944 they moved to Geneva. To this union four children were born. A daughter, Marguerite, preceded her... Read More	BURKE, MINNIE E.—Minnie E. Nothomb, daughter of Michael J. and Mary Nothomb, was born at Milford, Neb., December 16, 1878. She passed away at Lincoln, November 7, 1955, at the age of 76 years 10 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to James M. Burke, November 8, 1899, in St. Vincent's church at Seward. They lived most of their married life on a farm three miles west of Geneva, moving there in 1909. In 1944 they moved to Geneva. To this union four children were born. A daughter, Marguerite, preceded her mother in death. Mrs. Burke is survived by her husband, James M. Burke; three sons, Paul of Omaha, Mark of Portland, Ore., and Roscoe of Onawa, Ia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Louis Imig of Seward, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, November 10, at 9:30 a. m. at St. Joseph church in Geneva, with Rev. Paul Ulemberg officiating. Pallbearers were Roy Carson, Warren Lefever, Ed McCluskey, Carl Schneider, George Schropfer and Fred Stofer. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. All children were present for the services, except Mark, who returned to his home only recently after spending considerable time with his mother, during her prolonged illness.
