Minnie Emma Duehn, daughter of Louis Duehn lately one of our county commissioners, was born near Clements, Oct. 27, 1878 and married Geo. E. Dawson, Dec. 12, 1895. To this union were born six children, five boys and one girl, Louis, William, Edna; Carl, Herbert, Walter and an infant six months old, unnamed. Minnie was always of a joyful disposition and a general favorite with everyone. She was a member of the D. of R. and the O.M.B.A. which orders were present at the obsequies in the mourning regalia and presented two beautiful floral pieces of Easter lilies and roses, the O.M.B.A. being in a form of a cross and the D. of R. that of a pillow. The services which were largely attended owing to the high regard in which the family is held, were conducted by Rev. Robertson of the Presbyterian church. The sympathy of everyone is extended to the family in their bereavement.
