Description	:	Last Rites Held For Minnie Dixon Butts Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, March 9, for Mrs. Minnie Dixon Butts at the Reck Funeral Home and the St. Lawrence Community church. She died in the Chamberlain hospital Wednesday evening at the age of 66 years. She was a resident of Pukwana and formerly lived in Miller and St. Lawrence. The Rev. Pallbearers were Glen Skinner, Arnold Fremark, William Pautsch, Gordon Magness, Jack Fanning and Homer Welch. Burial was made in the St. Lawrence cemetery. Minnie Louise Muck, daughter of John and Louise Muck, was born November 27, 1884 at Hartington, Nebraska. She was baptized and confirmed in the German Lutheran church in childhood. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Community church at the time of her death. On July 5, 1904 she was united in marriage to John A. Dixon at Sheldon, Iowa, where they lived for two years before moving to Jerauld county, South Dakota in 1906. In 1909 the family moved to Hand county where she spent most of her life until the death of her husband John on April 25, 1941. The last year she made her home at Pukwana. To this union ten children were born, three preceeded her in death. Surviving are three sons; John, Clifford and Milo, all of Miller; Mrs. Ed Willard and Mrs. Les Michalek of Pukwana and Mrs. Carl Thompson of Moses Lake, Wash., and 27 grandchildren.
