Read More	Concordia Blade Empire April 24, 1954 Mrs. Minnie Cote Dies; Old Resident of This County Was 85 Years Old Mrs. Minnie Cote, former resident of Aurora, died this morning at St. Ann’s Home for The Aged here, after an illness of about five months. Mrs. Cote was born Minnie Courville, daughter of Nelson Courville and Delima Longton Courville, on July 2, 1868 at Manteno, Ill. She was 85 years old at the time of her death in Concordia April 24, 1954. Mrs. Cote came to Cloud County, Kansas with her parents when she was three years old and they settled on a farm northeast of Aurora. She continued to live in that community until the death of her husband, George Cote, in 1943 when she moved to Concordia. Survivors are her children: Frank Cote, Aurora; Philip Cote, Concordia; Mrs. Celine McCall, Concordia; Mrs. Wilfred Marcotte, Concordia; Albert Cote, Gresham, Ore. Twenty-five grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gaudreau, Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Selema Beargeon, Visalia, Calif., and a brother, Phillip Courville, Compton, Calif. Three daughters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Monday morning, April 26 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help catholic Church in Concordia at 9 o’clock and Interment will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery at Aurora. The body of Mrs. Minnie Cote will lie in state at Chaput’s Funeral Home until time of services. Rosary services will be held at funeral home Sunday evening at 8 o’clock.
