Paul Albrecht officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Superior. Christiancy, the daughter of Fredrick and Anna Marquardt Wolfteich, was born Jan. 1, 1914, in (sic) near Ohiowa in Filmore (sic) County. She was baptized Jan. 1, 1914, and confirmed Dec. 25, 1927, at St. John's Lutheran Church. She was united in marriage to Walter John Christiancy at St. John's Lutheran Church. Christiancy, the daughter of Fredrick and Anna Marquardt Wolfteich, was born Jan. 1, 1914, in (sic) near Ohiowa in Filmore (sic) County. She was baptized Jan. 1, 1914, and confirmed Dec. 25, 1927, at St. John's Lutheran Church. She was united in marriage to Walter John Christiancy at St. John's Lutheran Church. The couple lived a short while in St. Louis, Mo., and Minden before coming to Superior to make their home. In 1969, they purchased what is now known as Walt's Furniture. Christiancy was a member of the Centennial Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, David and Kent, Superior; brother, Rudolph Wolfteich, Crete; sister, Fern Most, Geneva; and two grandsons. Williams Funeral Home, Superior, was in charge of arrangements.
