Description	:	Minnie Viola (Bogue) Trueblood was a very devout Quaker lady. She tried to live by what the Bible and the church discipline taught. She was also know as the "flower lady" and had lots of flowers outside as well as many house plants. In the photo on this page she is holding her Bible while standing in front of the living room bay windows full of plants of many kinds. Read More	Minnie Viola (Bogue) Trueblood was a very devout Quaker lady. She tried to live by what the Bible and the church discipline taught. She also had a great interest in missions and in temperance issues. She lost her husband Charles when I was about 2 years old but continued to live on the farm in Iowa. Her brother, Walter, came to live with her and farmed the land they lived on. I have many fond memories of my visits to her. Especially when she lived in the house up the road from the new house she later built. This house had at least 3 stories. One room had a loom and a spinning wheel in it. Another room had lots of old clothes one could dress up in. I found that house so fascinating. Downstairs in one room was a crank up Victorla. I spent hours playing records on it. How I loved to play marches and march around that room. Fun times and precious memories. -- her granddaughter, Zelda (Hallowell) Capehart.
